Re: More Liverpool Problems?
It has really hit rock bottom ever from the 10mb upgrades were put into motion. I really hope these planned capacity upgrades do something to improve the situation, because if they don’t, then I’m off to ADSL.
ADSL BB in my area (people i know and such) is great and has been for a good while, 8mb with good pings and download speeds. Because at this time, most of us are not even touching ADSL 8mb speeds. |
Re: More Liverpool Problems?
hi there, i just googled vm bad pings liverpool and ure forums came up.
im in the L7 area and the high pings and slow downloads still continues. We called up a few times apprently they still have capacity problems but they have no idea when its gonna be fixed. Which is baffling me the fact that they dnt know when its gonna be done not even a rough idea. They said the first scheduled attempt of fixing the problems were 23rd of september. And now its october its been a whole month and still the bad ping and slow downloads. We are on 20mb and getting about 100kbps download speed neone else still have problems? and does neone else manage to get thru to someone who knew why its taking this long? Andy |
Re: More Liverpool Problems?
I am in Liverpool 18 and was told 23rd September I get 16meg in daytime in night under 1meg at times and was told the ubr21 will be upgraded in November

Re: More Liverpool Problems?
What does that mean g0mit? The ubr is being upgraded? Does that mean its oversubscribed and when the upgrade is done there will be enough bandwidth for everyone?

Re: More Liverpool Problems?
"Oversubscribed" is a word often used when describing a problem with a UBR. This could be TXload, SNR etc...
