Arsenal look set to complete their first summer signing by securing a deal for Marseille's Samir Nasri.

The Gunners have been tracking the French international for some time and are believed to be closing in on a £13million transfer.

Looks like that should be a done deal by the start of the Euros.

Interesting

Liverpool are officially the best team in Europe. The Anfield club top the official Uefa rankings that are based on European performances over the last five years. AC Milan are a point behind in second, Chelsea make into third while European champions Manchester United only make it to seventh. (Sunday Express)

Oh yes on the transfer front, lets hope this is true

West Ham defender Anton Ferdinand is set for a £6m move across London to join Tottenham. (Various)

Because he's crap and you want shot of him or because you need the money? :)

Spurs never seem to short of transfers. Not sure we need another central defender although murmerings are that Kaboul will be out by next season.

Dawson is for sale as well and Juande don't trust King's fitness. Ferdinand hmm he ain't bad just don't think you are signing anything special, he is probably a bit to old to improve anymore as well, think of him as a classy Titus Bramble rather than the next Rio.

First i've heard of Dawson being on the transfer list, but it doesn't surprise me. He's been excellent for us, filling King's shoes, including captaincy adeptly, so knowing us we'd sell him. Apparently Tom Huddlestone and Aaron Lennon are set to be transferred before the end of the season :(

Must have written by a scouser then, because it's wrong. Chelsea, are in fact, top of the list.
