North v. south, Man Utd v. Chelsea, Birmingham v. London ... everyone's entitled to their opinion and mine is that life's far too short to get all worked up about such things. Which is better is purely a subjective argument - I'm just glad that the UK is made up of different regions each of which adds something valuable to the mix we all call home.

I moved from the Wirral to Surrey in '99, very much against my will... I wouldn't have a problem moving back up to be honest, I don't think things are much different between here and there anyways..

Like poor Willy Wallace himself i was dragged,screaming & kicking down to London in 99........fae just a wee bit further North of course:)
Unlike my poor compatriot though ave no quite went to pieces just yet.

See,now theres the answer for anyone here who cant stop whining aboot the North,just head that wee bit further North in future;)

In all seriousness though,AS long as you & yours are happy & healthy then the rest is just a bonus,regardless of just where you are.
