Lol no probs just wish i could find out if i can turn the wireless bit off.

The manual indicates you can.

What version router do you have? Check under the router - on a small label - possibly v1, v2 ,v3 or v4.

Fantastic. my manual is on the set up disc i think but its a load of words that dont mean anything to me lol.

Give me a cook book anyday!!

I didn't mean you...I meant me! Just downloaded from the Belkin site...

Hummmm it says the wireless LAN light can have the status of off but it doesn't bloody tell you how to switch it off...oh well - just make sure it's secure - you've done that haven't you?

Perhaps.... I bet it's something dead simple like a physical switch on the router or something....

I think the light just indicates whether it's working or broken, I've got a v4 which doesn't support disabling of wireless but has the light anyway.

Urm i wouldn't have thought of that!

There is not a switch of any kind on the router there is an ariel and a power cable and 3 ethernet cables and that is it

If you ever notice that WLAN light flashing then it means someone is using your connection, phone the police.

Then why indicate in the manual that it can be switched off?
