I set mine explicitly to Cardiff 5. works better than the dial-up speeds i was getting, but nowhere near 10meg

1st 512K took 1093 ms = 468.4 KB/sec, approx 3860 Kbps, 3.77 Mbps 2nd 512K took 1079 ms = 474.5 KB/sec, approx 3910 Kbps, 3.82 Mbps 3rd 512K took 1093 ms = 468.4 KB/sec, approx 3860 Kbps, 3.77 Mbps 4th 512K took 1078 ms = 475 KB/sec, approx 3914 Kbps, 3.82 Mbps Overall Average Speed = approx 3886 Kbps, 3.8 Mbps believe it or not, the internet is still damn awful otherwise for speed :( I've tried a few different proxies, but have settled for Edinburgh's 2nd one - seems to be best so far. |

In the last couple weeks (started when the 20mb trials where started) my speeds are under 5mb. Now it's strange it started then and now the trials are over it's still there so I just want to know whats going on here?! Ntl, needs to give us answers.
