Re: Kids pc .....................again :(
Ok, '98 installed but I can't access the net, whenever I try and open explorer I get an error which says
MSOOBE caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:00000009. Any ideas  TIA __________________ Looking around it seems that msoobe is something to do with Win XP activation, WTF has that to do with this '98 install  |

Have you tried a repair of Internet Explorer or maybe download and install the newest one that 98 can handle? |

Use the Msoobe.exe Utility 1.Click Start, and then click Run.2.In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK. c:\windows\system\oobe\msoobe.exe /x Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the MSN Internet Access wizard. Got the same error message :( can't do anything right today .. lol, how did you get this from msoobe, when I searched it gave the xp thing as per previous post. 'kin pc's, anywho, gotta go out just now so I will check back later. Thanks again :tu: |

IE and see what happens. Was that the full error message that occurs? I think that file is linked to the MS Internet Connection Wizzard which always kicks in the first time you run IE after an install. More bits here |
Re: Kids pc .....................again :(
