i agree with you about the latter part of your post... when you love someone i think they grow in attractiveness... because being attractive isn't a purely physical thing

i agree, i think the initial 'connection hits you, but if a relationship is to be sucessful the both of you need to grow emotionally, as well as get along with each other! :D

OK guys, now I'm properly confused. I have solid ground to say that personality and character are more important than looks to me. I am, afterall, in a position where I don't care about a person's sex.

However, to all the strictly straight and strictly gay people: physical attraction HAS to be more important than personality and character because it will supercede it in ALL cases, right? I mean, if you're straight, no matter how nice a guy is (if you're a guy), you won't want to do it with him. Isn't that implying that physical attraction is the most important aspect?

Not necessarily, a person's gender and sexuality can contribute as much to their personality as to their looks.
