Thrush is just a fungal infection like athlete's foot. You can get fungal infections between any folds of skin on your body and especially where it's warm and damp. Mothers breastfeeding babies can get it on their nipples and even the poor babies can get it in their mouths.

So, although it can be transmitted sexually, I don't think it is accurate to class it as a 'STD' in the same way that HIV/herpes is.

i suppose i never had a vested interest in being popular, stay away from the idiots is all i cared about (still do) :D

you have to be an individual as you grow, if you cant think/do things for yourself later on you do become insufficent in what you are capable of doing.....

Thats a very good point. Though I dont think it made my point any less valid that these things can still be caught even if you abstain.
Also if you abstain and your partner mereley claims he/she has also abstained and it just so happens you catch something off them on your wedding night you wouldnt be best pleased.

And we don't recomend a ban on breast feeding, do we?

Well, I made myself clear in the other thread, so I just say I expect (and hope) that they won't be as successful as in America.

Incog stop spamming

that is true :)

- the hard bit is being an individual who can, not only, have that unique view, but also 'join in' ?

- the balance between the two is key to achievement - imo

- I'm also more than aware that there is an element of 'competition' as to when one has one's 'first time' - believe it or not I still remember  - no short term memory loss here;)

- but seriously the rates of std's & unwanted pregnancies suggest 'any strategy in a storm' - scrap the rings, though :erm:
