A few new clips around now, the opening 37 seconds of the first ep are on the official site now

Also on Wossy from Friday night there was a long clip from Ep 6 Vampires of Venice shown.

There are photos in the Radio Times of the new TARDIS interior and it looks amazing, lots of levels, stairs and by the looks of it new rooms :) It was built on the location of the Torchwood hub, which is why it is so big.

Re: Doctor Who : Season 5

It really has a clssic Who feel to it and apparently the 70's/80's background TARDIS sound effects are back :)

Even the roundels look a lot like the 80's versions with the way they are styled.

I really can't wait till Saturday :D

I look forward to the new theme tune and opening credits, with all this classic Who stuff I wonder if we will get The Doctors Face in the titles!

I'm sure I heard rumblings of a USA version (made by FOX) being developed. With John Barrowman in it.

Linkage

edit - and more here....

The hub was destroyed during Children of Earth so even if they do make more Torchwood they don't need the hub set.

The Hub was destroyed at the end of the last episode but Torchwood can still carry on. Still not sure it has been commisioned though.

Slightly aside from the main thrust of this topic, did anyone else know that BBC Worldwide has started uploading entire serials of Classic Who to Youtube?

Check it out, there's quite a selection:
