Another weekend of poor decisions means VER wins championship again.

He would win anyway either this race or soon after, but yes terrible decisions.

I used to love F1, but last year killed it, this year confirmed it.

I might return when Winger Spice leaves.

Red bull must have something on the FIA decision makers as yet again they have effectively got away with cheating. No points deduction... Rubbish.

Sao Paulo Grand Prix: George Russell beats Lewis Hamilton to first full Formula 1 win

George Russell took a maiden grand prix victory - and a first for Mercedes in 2022 - as Max Verstappen was penalised for a collision with Lewis Hamilton in Sao Paulo.

Russell was in control of the race throughout after Verstappen and Hamilton came together as they disputed second place in the early stages at a safety car restart.

Hamilton dropped to ninth place after the collision with his 2021 title rival but came back to secure a Mercedes one-two and seal the team's recovery after a difficult season that the eight-time champions started with an uncompetitive car.

Russell's accomplished drive included him surviving a late safety car that bunched up the field and put Hamilton right behind him heading into the final 10 laps.

The Mercedes drivers were told that they were allowed to race but Russell held the lead at the restart and kept Hamilton at bay until the end.

Verstappen showed that he has no class. I on team anyone but him for next year.

Verstappens lack of class has been evident for the last couple of years.

l did not like his attitude then and instead of learning a bit more humility he has become even more arrogant since.

When are they going to switch to electric/solar powered cars? F1 is a dinosaur.

Hopefully never.

Watch the snore fest that is Formula E, if that floats your boat.

Can’t help but think longer term he’s shot himself in the foot. Why would Perez compromise his race next year to hold up any of Max’s competitors? Sure, he can give it the couple of difficult corners, but beyond that if he’s on a different strategy or racing someone else for position in the pit window I’d imagine his own race will come first.
