That's one way of doing it but last time the question was asked there was a 500KB limit on image file attachments to posts. Most wallpapers would probably sneek under that limit though but it would be wise to ask the team about doing this sort of thread suggestion as those wallpapers will soon mount up on the server space.

Aye no doubt lol. I am sure the mods have a fair few GB's spare. ;) if its a trouble mods, please feel free to remove them, or perhaps peeps why not store then on a outer website and hotlink them here??..

Because most NTL customers have webspace of their own to use? ;) The odd attachment here or there isn't going to drag the forum to it's knees but if every member posted their wallpaper as an attachment everytime they changed it, the server load and free storage space would soon start changing.
Maybe PM'ing a team member for their input would be a start?

I bought Bryce 5 at a knock down special offer last year when Daz aquired it from Corel.

At the same time I downloaded the beta of this for free and played about with it.I've since bought a couple of figures and some items of clothing to play about with in the latter and then I export them to the former and set up little scenario's around them.. :D

It's very time consuming and you do need a good graphics/games card for them both to work really well.It took over an hour to render that picture in Bryce. :erm:

It's free, but after a week or so you'll get a nag screen every time you start Windows unless you buy it.

He bought a P4 machine in 1997? Impressive! (considering the actual processor wasn't on the market until 2000). You are of course aware than Alienware were also not distributing PC's in the UK back then?

Just get him to post his 3d Mark score to the Online Results Browser then he can share a URL with his spec (and I'll be able to tell you whether it's a good result for his machine or not)

Huh? I said that I could tell you whether his score was good for his machine, there are countless people on here that could do the same. You were the one that started waxing lyrical about Alienware machines/posting a 3d Mark score from what you claimed to be a P3, I just pointed out a few facts that showed the information you shared was incorrect, there's a difference between being able to use Google and being a "know all".

Was inspired to change mine thanks to some amusement at work. When an email went around our Trust asking for volunteers to prepare a photo for a works calender that's being put together to collect money for charity, our I.T dept gladfully put their names forward, only to find out, as usual, that they were the ONLY dept to do so...... So, being as they were miffed at always being the only ones to volunteer for this sort of thing, they came up with this.....

So is mine (at home), well 1280x1024 anyway, and it can go up to 1600x1200 if I want it to, but I prefer to have a refresh rate of 85Hz on this one.
At work I have 2048x768 though on dual flatscreens, it's lovely but it would be better if I had 3 of 'em like our network admin does. :D

If you run a high res on your desktop (which I have never seen a 15" monitor do in my life) then how come you run your games in some silly 512x400 res or something?

Huh? All my games except HL2 run in 800x600. I run them in low resolutions because if I put them into 1024x768 I get an FPS of about 20. I use a high resolution in Windows for the certain applications I use (It also has less strain on my eyes).
