Fuel supply always was normal - normal enough, anyway. It was the inane public response to a series of highly irresponsible media reports that was abnormal.

I’m beginning to think it should be a criminal offence to create the illusion of shortages looming to create panic buying.

As soon as my wife arrives back from Asda with the tin foil, I will go down to suggest this to my MP.
