TiVo is very usable with a blue remote. Up/down/left/right/OK, CH+/-, numbers, i (browse) to record, guide for home, tv, colours, standby. What more do you need? :)

For new installs after 24th I'm presuming this software will be installed by the technician when he installs the box ?

It will automatically pick it up as part of the install, engineer won't have to do anything
