We know managers lose their rag sometimes but this is going to end in a heavy punishment and he will probably lose his job as well into the bargain.

Sanogo just missed. I'm honestly tired of it. Its the predictability of it all that drains me.

Arsenal needed to freshen their side up in January but sadly Arsene failed to do this.

Its got to be said Podolski was poor. He had a good opportunity on his left leg to make the keeper work but instead hit row z. Its pathetic. Wenger was smiling throughout, may be bewildered, nonetheless hes at fault for a lot of the predictable stuff on field.

Well its nice to get three points today against a side we have struggled against in the last few years and its certainly looking like top four is a increasingly possible given Arsenal are struggling a bit currently whilst Spurs are 9 points behind and Man Utd are 14 points behind but its one game at a time and lets see where it takes us.

As for Southampton they should be proud how well they have done as they have a fine manager and have made some astute buys whilst bringing through some talented young players.

You know top four is yours to lose and you're going for the title.

Newcastle say they will fine him £100,000 and have issued a warning but that it will be the end of the matter.

Don't let a couple of stupid incidents detract from the job he has done at Newcastle. Especially with what goes on behind the scenes there.

Any action paedew does is justified, because he owns the club.

I don't see him getting sacked, and would think that is harsh. that said, I would expect a very long touchline ban for him, circa 12 games. It was a stupid action, and worse, no justification (not as if the Hull payer did something). Even if justified (which it wasn't) I would still give a long ban.

Den, despite your humility (true or false), Liverpool are favourites for top 4, have a chance at winning.

Colin yes it is looking pretty good for a top 4 place but remember we have some tough fixtures still to play and a couple of bad results here and there and things won't look half as promising.

The title is between Man City and Chelsea.

Can't remember where I read it yesterday, might have been on the BBC Sport site, but someone was surmising he will be given a 6 month ban from all stadia in the UK. If he gets a ban like that, then he would either have to resign or be fired because how can a team cope for 6 months with working with the manager during the week then having to deal with a coach or assistant at matches?

Liverpool are now being judged as top 4 certs and a chance for the title irrespective of their attempts to downplay it.

That could easily be said of both Man city and chelsea.

Only team at present who have it in their hands, is Chelsea, as they have points on the board.

That is a good point. It all depends on what newcastle want. If they want rid of pardew, this would be a good basis for sacking him.

Yes. i suspect Den is only saying Liverpool don't have much chance, as he is afraid of jinxing it. This is Liverpool's best chance, and once in the top 4 next year, it is for others to displace them.

I wonder if Den has started humming the champion's league tune when in the shower. :D
