Correct, no excuses for anyone now if that is the way they wish to purchase their TV. I seem to recall people can bulk buy months thus reducing the price further (through codes etc I'm sure some people better in the know are equipped to answer that one)

Hardly anybody would have been able to see that channel as you say Dave.

Yes, but it's galling that consumers have to buy another device to watch Now TV when Virgin could simply add it to their choice of streaming services.

Sky would never let them. And Virgin wouldn't want to as it would risk them losing money if people downgrade their TV and watch Now TV.

Let's discuss this again when Sky has put Now TV on its own boxes.;)

Powerless. In theory, customers can always move to the Post Office for £15pm line rental but they don't offer fibre.

There would be no point, since all the channels on Now TV are already on Sky.

No one box has all of them, you have to vote with your feet and choose a provider or a selection to cater your needs or be creative ie Appletv for iTunes, Netflix and then AirPlay from iPad for Amazon prime

Please advise someone. Is Premier Sports free on the XL Package.

As at the moment, l am getting it free. Good thing is that Spurs are playing tomorrow. And its on that channel

Or is there a special deal for VM customers - similar to BT Sport ?

It's free for another few days - think it was the 10th. It was posted on here somewhere a few weeks ago.
