Same thing happened to me on Monday. Network problems - but he left with instructions to hit 'OK' twice when the green light stopped flashing. It did just that pretty soon and everything now fine. Stay calm....

The TiVo can take several days to fully settle down. A pain I know but it will be worth it in the end. It is a fabulous piece of kit!:)

Well the Tivo box is still sitting there, been installed now for 6 hrs and all we are getting is a green flashing light.

I have been in touch with the Tivo team again and they say there is nothing they can do, just wait for the engineers to call back. ****!!!!!****

Old IT Cliché but in this case it will probably work "switch it off and then back on again"

Can I just ask a simple question? Why did the engineer go when the installation was not fully done:confused:

If anyone's interested, the 15.2 test software has updated from RC2 to RC8. I haven't noticed any changes (yet). My apps have never worked so I'm not able to check those.

Yes, there was a smalll code drop last night. When everyone else gets the download it will be RC8.

Re- Apps - are you in an ex-Telewest area? We have a open outage ticket for loss of apps on some ex-Telewest area TiVo boxes at the moment.

I think that was to fix the EPG issue with PBS

When installed how long do you need to leave TIVO before using it ? Should the the box be installed with 15.2 for a 28th Nov install.

I started using mine straight away after the engineer left, it just takes some time before all the EPG programme info loads.

You can use most things straight away, but the EPG will still be updating. Backwards EPG will populate fully after 7 days as it only adds the days it's been installed for. :)

Yes, ex-Telewest (Crawley). I did see the ticket and it also appears on the status for my area.

As well as apps, Help and OD services are also down. I'm not too worried about that in the short term, but since my install on Saturday I have what is, essentially, a V+ with suggestions. Before I switched from V+ to Tivo, OD was working, so hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

So...should be getting two TiVo boxes installed tomorrow; hopefully I won't be disappointed!
