Also you can now order this weekend's Wrestling and Boxing that is being shown on TNT Sports Box Office.

Box Office could be a different contract.

I mean, that’s a positive sign but it could simply be they’ve extended on existing terms for X days while negotiations continue.

That's what I thought, rollover contracts until they either reach an agreement or deadlock.

You can buy DAZN, Sky Sports or TNT Sport Box Office FIVE days before it broadcast (That would have been Monday).

But the Wrestling and Boxing only appeared after 10am today.

Also FT was reporting on Tuesday:

Quote:

'Executives at Virgin Media are also closing in on a deal to show the Premier League football matches managed by TNT Sports, which is jointly owned by BT and WBD, as broadcasting fee negotiations near conclusion.

'The deadline for the talks is this week, but those close to the deal said they were confident of coming to an arrangement before or shortly after the deadline. If not, Virgin Media will not be able to show TNT Sports when the deal expires after the end of July.'

Also FT was reporting on Tuesday:

It's a good sign of progress that the services are still there but not conclusive evidence of it. Unless there is a situation, such as the UKTV dispute, where the negotiations spill over into a public row, there is little chance of finding out what is actually happening with any negotiations.

With football, rugby union, MMA, motorsport and more, there’s superb sporting action on Premier Sports – and you’ve got the whole of August to watch it, on us

Re: Virgin TV (2024)

I think Virgin or TNT Sports won't reveal that deal has been resigned.

It was The Times and FT who updated us.

Also Virgin has all TNT Sports linear channels since 2018 when TNT Sports UHD did launch as part of 2018's new deal.

When is Sky Sports+ launching? Do we know how many streams we'll get? i assume it'll differ between the type of box you have?

Update:

Sky Sports+ streaming app will become available on August 6.

Linear channel appears on August 8

However, all the streams will only be available on Virgin Media 360 boxes and Virgin Media Stream.

But the new Sky Sports+ linear channel will be available no matter what box you have.

-------

No idea if thats been confirmed already so apologies if it has.

I have seen unconfirmed reports that Sky Sports streaming app will be added to V6 Boxes 'At the later date'.

It took Premier Sports no time in using the extra money Premier Sports got off Virgin Media UK this month

Premier Sports has just reveal that Rangers’ European adventure to Poland to play Dynamo Kyiv will be shown LIVE on Premier Sports 1 from 7pm on August 6th.
