Sky Cinema information.

-Sky Cinema Family will be rebrand as Sky Cinema Animation on Virgin UK Channel 436 from March 24th until TBC.

-Sky Cinema Select will be rebrand as Sky Cinema Classics on Virgin UK Channel 442 from March 24th until TBC.

-Sky Cinema Action Men will be rebranded back to Sky Cinema Action on Virgin UK Channel 407 on March 26th.

Digital Spy is reporting that Disney will rebrand Disney XD +1 as "The Avengers Channel" from April 1st and it will run until April 29th.

LFC TV are having an freeview on Virgin UK Channel 544 this weekend. Ex Liverpool are playing Live on LFCTV on saturday at 3pm.

I would suggest it's because they don't have enough sporting events to show and it probably saves them money too

Personally I'd rather have to many HD channels than see games thrown in SD behind the red button.

An new BBC Red Button HD placeholder has started to test Virgin Media UK.

Sky tests say that BBC Red Button HD will share capacity with CBBC HD.

BBC Red Button HD will broadcast from 9pm to 7am when the Commonwealth Games on is.

Extra coverage will be shown on BBC One HD or BBC Two HD, With SD coverage being on BBC One, BBC Two and BBC Red Button (Channel 991).

Some sky packages have a limited number of the sports channels - main event is one of these channels - I presume the idea is to entice people to upgrade to all sports channels when they view things they wouldn't normally get.
