You will be fine then as i am on the same pack and have just swapped the standard box for the TIVO box and kept the V+ BOX and all the functions are there.

p.s i would change the HD premiums to the TIVO box as that is what i did.

Am I right in thinking that by doing this, your bill hasn't increased because the VIP50 package already includes a V+ box in the price?

No the bill has stopped the same as the stated VIP50 price of £100.55.

P.S Just to add I have to say that when i won a free TIVO as I have posted earlier they said that if I stayed on the same package i would not be charged the £3pm charge. Also as DF has stated this seems to be what VM are now saying?

I think that they need to check out after the code drop as the pause,ff,rw and stop buttons work on the I-PLAYER now. Also they are trying to get the I-PLAYER back in to the catch up as posted here over on the VM TIVO community forum.

Hi all

As you know we recently launched the BBC iPlayer app on the Tivo service, with numerous advantages such as the complete catch up library, including HD, radio shows and subtitling.

This great app will develop over time and we are working with BBC to find a way to put all the new content into our catch up area, 7 days backwards grid and global search. However while we work on this integration we won't be able to offer access to iPlayer content through these other routes. Instead you can simply press the red button when watching live BBC channels or go straight to the Apps and Games area where you will find the complete iPlayer app. You can search the full BBC library through the app's built-in search functionality.

Thanks

Like DF said the full player has more content , however it would be good to get it in the EPG again.

I feel honoured LOL :D

Because most don't get offended by my balanced posts mate , I have no loyalty to either company and I'm still a VMTV user , who knows 12 months from now I could be a TIVO user LOL :D

Thanks muppetman, all seems to have gone silent on the app front. I'm really looking forward to being able to remote record from my phone and iPad etc. Sky are really on the ball with this side of things, their iPad app is very well designed imo. :)

Trust me mate you'll get it , the US TIVO iPad app looks great , I'm using remote record on ipad and Android and its great , from sending a remote record to arriving on my box takes about 30 seconds you'll love it.
