But in a debate it is customary to answer questions as well as ask them..;)

Maybe, just maybe there was a clear and present danger to the wheelchair bound 'protester' that made the Police remove him for his own safety.

You and I were not there so i guess we will never know, apart from what the guy has said and by all accounts he is a 'professional protester' (from what I read earlier in the thread) so make of that what you will.

But there wasn't, was there. It took the officer a lot longer to drag him across the road, than it would to have wheeled him. So, he wasn't in real danger at all, was he? It looked like he just hacked the officer off. Seeing as he had to be dragged away (quite forcibly) by his colleague, kind of suggests he hadn't finished punishing him, either.

We should make this into a game.

How many questions will Flyboy be asked before he responds with an answer instead of a question?

Anyone think that flyboy is in fact a bot designed to keep the thread alive by asking question to other posters answers

As for you questions aimed at me flyboy, I gave up on your childish little game a few of your question before that one.

Debate: To engage in argument by discussing opposing points.

Refusing to answer questions posed by the other party does not promote a meaningful debate IMO...

I don't think they had that choice, do you?

I think you have Arthuritis, except in your case commas are replaced by question marks...

No. I do not think that *you* understand.

The peaceful ones need not fear anything as they have not done anything wrong.

The ones that kick off get it. All along the lines of if you have not done anything wrong, you have nothing to fear.

Is that clearer?

Not really, no. The water canon is not exactly a precision instrument.

But it isn't a debate is it? You're cherry-picking questions to answer, responding to them with circular reasoning and then ignoring the ones you don't feel like answering.

if you're determined to cultivate an "intelligent lefty" image then you need to debate like one. Instead you're coming at this thread as narrow-minded as the cops/labour ministers/racists/whatever you claim to be against.

If you want people to respond to you positively in this then concede that as you have never been in a police officer's position, maybe...just maybe there could be aspects of this you have no idea about.

As opposed to making up your mind based on ambiguous photos and video clips.

If it came to it, they could always lift him out of his chair and carry him, bosun style.

I will ask again ,please show some clear evidence that he was thrown/dragged from his chair, your opinion that he was is not evidence ,that is you slandering the police

Please stop pretending to be an impartial libertarian.

If it was an EDL / BNP protest targeting Labour party HQ, you'd be on here moaning that the Police didn't do enough...

No I didn't, I answered your question, I am sorry if it was not quick enough for you, but there was an awful to get through.

Instead the only option left to the cop to get this guy out of the way of the car is to grab him out of the chair and out of the way of the car.

Hypothetical yes, dumbed down so maybe you'll understand it, definitely.

But there was no car coming, was there. It appeared to me that the wheelchair man annoyed the officer and he tipped him out as punishment for annoying him. It took the officer considerably longer to tip him out and drag him across the road.

Seriously it's like talking to my parents' sunflower plant.

Here is the key part of what you quoted (and ignored)...
