Competitive games. We did manage to win a few friendlies. :)

The last competitive game we won before today was against Iceland, rumours about a game against Tescos proved unfounded. :D

As the chant goes..... We're not Brazil we're Northern Ireland.

No sign of Russ tonight then ;)

Just watched the Poland v Austria game - Poland were very lucky winners, I hope they defend like they did tonight when England play them.

We dominated the game, but were weak in front of goal but that is usually typical of a 4-5-1 formation, I think we were also nervous due to a stupid press this country has that is hell bent on putting pressure on the best manager we have had for decades. End of the day we won job done. The press need to learn that freindlies results dont mean **** and sven qualifier record is outstanding.

Been offline til now!

Something needs to be done about our team. A revival cannot be too difficult surely? After all, our rugby team went from laughing stock to being the dominant force in the UK in the space of about 18 months whereas England made the complete opposite move.

Whatever the case, we won't do it with Toshack.

Of that I have no doubt.

The fans will still be singing no matter what the score is.

Wish I was going, but I was away for some of the earlier matches and couldn't justify the expense. (The IFA made a smart decision in that if you wanted tickets for the England game you needed to buy tickets for the other 4 home games.)

What did that chant at Old Trafford go like? HHMM something like "Come on England, Shall we sing a song for you". 4 - nil up and the England fans still didn't sing.

Ironic isn't it... really, you don't appreciate what you have, until it's gone.
