West Brom are lucky to still have 11 men after grabbing Remy's shirt. Luckily for them Remy saw fit to dive which has probably gone against him.

No that's just something one person said.

Over the years plenty of people have commented on how that year United "won the league by Christmas".

IIRC no other team has been top going in to the new year and stayed there.

Man United are England's biggest and most successful club and that's all down to Sir Alex but whether they can be just as successful under David Moyes is very much open to question and even MU supporters will admit that.

AVB got someone arrested at the Europa League game as he sang 'Youre getting sacked in the morning'

I will be delighted if AVB gets sacked. He just doesn't know what he needs to do at Tottenham - Soldado will be the worst striker that we have bought, so far 4 goals and that was 3 from the spot.

And yet against United he was poor and missed chances. Defoe came on and my god changed the whole game with constant attacks.

i actually posted the story in here and forgot :dunce:

Quote:

Reidar Stenersen Jr was told that he could return to watch the second half from the stand on the opposite side of the ground but he declined and retired to the pub. "I first sung after five minutes that he would be 'sacked in the morning' and he looked at me, At the half-time whistle, when it was still 0-0 and I started the same song, he pointed at me and suddenly the security came and threw me out. I know he is under a lot of pressure so I think my words hit him, even though I am only a little guy in little Tromso. He was being a bit petulant. This is the same thing that can be sung by 60,000 at the Emirates Stadium or other grounds."

Tromso's head of security, Hans-Thore Hanssen, confirmed that a fan had been moved after Villas-Boas made a complaint to the Uefa inspector. "He was asked to move to the other side," Hanssen said. "I was not there when the incident happened so what he may have shouted, I cannot say. But I know that he [Villas-Boas] had spoken to the Uefa inspector who, in turn, spoke to our security. The situation was handled correctly. If there is verbal abuse shouted, the supporter should be spoken to and, in some cases, thrown out. In this type of match, there is greater security."

Was having a 'friendly' discussion with a mate on a trade forum and was amused at his statement that... 'the London clubs will dominate the league this year, a return to the good old days'.

I did a bit of checking and TBH I was very surprised to find that of the 114 times the 1st Division/Premiership has been contested, London clubs have only won it 19 times.

I duly asked him just which 'good old days' he was referring to.:D

PS. Lancashire clubs have won the title 55 times.

I hope that if Spurs lose or draw against Fulham (no disrespect to Fulham fans), AVB had better quit.

Especially if he again plays Soldado on his own up front, Fulham are third from bottom so we should win comfortably.

Denphone, AVB always changes the squad round like that, l will get annoyed if Soldado come on though, by far the worst striker Spurs have bought.

Soldado was a proven striker in La Liga and he is not the problem as the problem is AVB tactics in my humble opinion.

Chiriche has only played two games and has scored TWO GOALS, He has scored against Fulham.

Holtby has scored for Spurs 1 - 2

Suarez = Mental legend :)

The man is a troubled genius. Not sure if he'll still be at Anfield next season following the World Cup.
