I'd say there are mid to poor ones so far, definitely better to experience in the cinema on big screen and better quality.

I don't go to the cinema anymore, far too expensive as well as the travelling and parking charges where I live.

Personally love to watch on my decent home TV so I'll try and hold out until a great version becomes available, probably in August or September.

Would public transport be cheaper? I wouldn't be without my unlimited card anymore. 2 visits a month and its already more than paid for itself.

I couldn't imagine not going to the cinema.

I live in a village 9 miles from Cambridge so public road transport is very limited, the park and ride with guided bus is an option but it's still an incredible hassle and I've never used it. I also don't have anything like an unlimited pass option and the Vue cinema I would have used has just closed down. There is the 'Everyman' cinema thats not long opened and 'Light Cinema' which used to be Cineworld but the distance/cost and travel times is always going to be a pain, if I lived inside Cambridge it maybe different but as I said I like to watch at home.

There are no parking charges at the Odeon I use, its free.
Obviously there is the fuel cost to drive there and back (about 25 miles in total, so roughly £3).

My limitless card works out at around £9 per film, plus the cost of some goodies to eat.
Not sure what you class as expensive but about £15 to watch on a huge screen, with super (usually atmos) sound is well worth it to me.

As to the film in question, its only came out this week, its expected on HBO Max at around the end of September.

If I was able to go to the Cinema during the day on a weekend parking charges are something like £13.80 upto 3hrs and alot more after that, in the evening £1.50 an hour which is reasonable. Everyman cinema cost is £16.60 and light Cinema i can't find a price but likely atleast £11.

That would be a good option if I did go to the Cinema because I work in Huntington.

I was surprised how good it ended up. Really showed Robbie dealing with his inner demons etc well.

I've just seen it. Wow what an insult to the original. I do like a lot of Gunn's stuff but this was just bad on every level. Unless you're 12 years old or under maybe it might have some appeal.

I am certain that this one will never ever be rewatched that's for sure.

As for a score, then it'll have to be a total zero. Diabolical is all I can say.
