Strong growth in sales of TiVo digital television recorders also helped boost the company’s revenue. The company added 127,000 subscribers to the product in the quarter and said it currently has 222,000 customers. To illustrate the speed of take-up, the company said it had installed a TiVo box into a customers’ home every minute of the day for July, August and September of this year.

Virgin Media had 35,000 at the end of Q2 then add 127,000 comes to 162,000. Virgin Media added another 60,000 between 1st october and 26th october.

I think Virgin Media will have 350,000+ tivo customers at the end of the year.

Got to admit I'm looking forward to having a chance to play around with TIVO when my parents get installed at the end of this month, they'll be sick of seeing me at their house :D At the moment I've used a Premiere briefly on holiday and a brief go of VM TIVO in store and at a friends.
