I can feel a back track coming on , VM realised they've made a stupid mistake. Not a rant at you DF but VM really are unbelievable how they market things.

There will be no back tracking on the prices. VM have not made a mistake at all. Ther are more prices to be announced that's all. For new customers and customers on different packages.

How come there a sudden change in pricing from today's email ?

There isn't a change in price. Just prices for people on lower packages.

But the prices were revealed today , why send an email to a VIP customer saying 149 + 40 and then send another with a different price , theyve had long enough to sort it out. Seems like a back track to me.

DF, Can I ask you a question pleas of how VM deals with these issues. You DONT have to answer this if you dont want to:

How does Virgin Media work when these things happen (people argue at the pricing). Do they listen to the complaints and change the pricing or do they just see the complaints and continue until they know they have made a mistake?

Thanks.

It's a perfectly valid response. If you're happy to pay for it then go for it. If you're not then stay with what you have. VM aren't twisting your arm and forcing you to have it.

However for now TiVo is a premium product and there has a premium price attached.

I hope you guys don't work in sales or customer relations; I can't think of any sales person who's won me over with, 'Take it or leave it' :)

Re: TiVo

Based on these prices and the expected additional excess prices for new customers and lower package holder I can see these only being bought by the apple-phobes who buy the latest equipment whatever the price. Will be interesting to see new tivo subs over April-Jun v New Sky HD subs.

I think they have a good hardware product, but on a poor infrastructure and a lower content package so pricing as such seems strange

Vent your anger if you want but attacking another member no matter who they are is just not acceptable.

If you don't like the deal don't take it and stick with what you have or move to Sky.

If you don't like whats posted then post your feeling without getting personal to someone who is trying to be helpful and honest with us.

People like you are a waste of time reading as far I am concerned so will ignore you from now on.

DF mate just treat this idiot for what he is, an ignorant waste of space and just be yourself.
