Also Ferdinand is out of the England team for Euro 2012. Shame, always liked him. However they are concerned about his injury record.

Liverpool the best midfield in the world back then imo, mascerano, Alonso and Gerrard, with Torres up front. I'll tell you what's criminal Liverpool trying to replace Alonso with Garth Barry.

Yes first testimonial, not sure why it took 40 years.

Chamberlain has played only a handful of games for Arsenal and has had more assists and goals than Downing.

Yes he has had more assists but he is still a bit too inexperienced for my liking for such a major tournament.
