Don’t dwell in the past, Itshim. Things move on all the time. But not so, sadly, for the V6 boxes.

What has the V6 got to do with anything? Things move on , or sideways, in some peoples opinion backwards. Vince calls the 360 perfect, yet wants changes or at least improvements, I mearly pointed out that TiVo hold a number of patients . Asking what they ( the changes or improvemnts ) might be

Even the most advanced boxes improve over time. That’s the point I was making, in a direct response to your post.

Sorry I don't see your point. The question was and still is this . As the 360 is perfect. His statement. What does he want done to it. Ie my car is great but would like seats that can turned and lowered when "out of the car" . So again the only question is I hope this is simple enough for you to understand, what does he want added and or changed

Seeing as the V6 can run TV 360, then there's nothing wrong with V6.

Probably off topic slightly here but I'm in the same corner as Itshim.
There are people in many companies being paid vast amounts of money to change, alter or redesign something that works perfectly and isn't broken.

I've no idea why they do this, and truth be told I've noticed over many years that anything 'new and improved' invariably fails to live up to that statement, and is often of poorer quality . . . . with the oh so obvious and obligatory price increase that accompanies it.

Usually these changes hardware wise come from things being made more cheaply. A good example is our old tumble dryer, which packed in after 25 years service. We managed to get a modern equivalent model from the same company, but looking at the build quality & components used now we will be lucky if it keeps going for half the time the old one did.

It hasn't been discontinued and is used by the majority of TV customers. There's little point in again listing the reasons why most customers don't want it as you've been told often enough.

And yet he cannot say what he would add or change. So clearly not perfect or why want anything at all. For the record I don't care what box I have, just don't see the reason to change .show me the carrot that I would care for and I. Will .

I think that's much of the Worlds problems, too many people jump for the shiny new carrot (with added Xenchlorastic particles and hypnoblogaintit coating for extra strength and durability)

:D

There is nothing that you or I can do for the worlds problem. Let's face it this country put Starmer and co in. So I seek out carrots when ever I can find them. The. 360 set up lacks any for me . I think freely along with virgin TV go , is the best I can hope for. Which let's be honest is poor.

QVC's parent company, QVC Group, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to restructure and reduce its debt from approximately $6.6 billion to $1.3 billion. Despite this, the company plans to continue operations as usual, with no layoffs or interruptions in service for customers.

It must be nice to owe $1.3 Billion and yet still just carry on as normal.

The UK version will probably be OK. See https://rxtvinfo.com/2026/qvc-on-the...-be-concerned/

QVC stresses that subsidiaries outside of the US are not part of the bankruptcy proceedings. The only exception is a non-operating subsidiary in Luxembourg.

The company’s global business activities continue as usual – including customer-facing activities in the UK, Germany, Japan, and Italy. Payments to suppliers and vendors are being made as normal in all these regions.

As a result, QVC UK is expected to continue broadcasting, selling goods and services as normal.
