Meets the Babes did stop broadcasting at about 8am.
Then after 9am Virgin put a sign up saying 'Channel no longer broadcasting'.

The placeholder flag has also been removed so any recordings should no longer be playable, which makes far more sense than the previous arrangement for a pseudo "shopping" service.
The closure message slate is using the original video stream.

The XGS-PON network isn't compatible with the TV network carried on hybrid cable and RFoG networks, so it makes sense that Virgin would improve their TV packages by allowing further Stream devices.
However, it seems from the posts on the community forum that adding extra devices may not run smoothly.

Re: Virgin TV (2024)

It hasn't been added to Mega. That would have been a major shock.

The subs codes hadn't changed last night. It isn't in Mega and was removed from Maxit when the letters were sent out. Maxit customers wanting to keep TNT Sports will have had the TNT Sports stand-alone package added at no extra cost (for now at least).

Update: no changes since last night.

Can't see them doing a U turn and reinstating it to Maxit now. I guess it's up to every man / woman for themselves now to ring up and negotiate.

Is there confirmation of a deal anywhere or is this just based on the fact the channels are still on.

Also you can now order this weekend's Wrestling and Boxing that is being shown on TNT Sports Box Office.

I mean, that’s a positive sign but it could simply be they’ve extended on existing terms for X days while negotiations continue.
