I mean, I can see why they left love him so much.

He’s a libertarian.

It’s all relative. Get a Democrat in the White House and fight for control of the party in a Democrat majority congress and the left will see more policies succeed than under the Don.

The 'left', depending how you define them, don't really like Biden. He was probably the most right-wing Democrat running if you exclude Bloomberg. He won the nomination in part because Democrats placed beating Trump above all else and wanted to go for someone that wouldn't alienate the middle ground.

Biden isn't even campaigning that much. Didn't do any events Monday-Thursday last week.

He is just sitting back and making it all about Trump.

You're not being an equal opportunities employer there Mick. You need to make reasonable adjustment these days ;)

Anyway compared to the previous incumbent he sounds very sane. Admittedly that's not setting the bar very high...

It's a very low bar but he sounds more sane than Trump. He's a poor public speaker though.

People with dementia usually are.

Just over a week to go. Will Trump pull off the biggest upset in a long time in US politics or will he become the first one-term President since George Bush Snr was booted out in 1992?

basically a vote for Biden is a vote for kamala Harris to be President. Biden won't see out his first term.

It’s going to be even more embarrassing for Trump when he loses.

He'll be a one-timer, no doubt about that. Biden will win just because he's not Trump, not because of any amazing attributes. The US has seen through the fake news President and he will soon be consigned to the history books. I do wonder if Jo Biden will make a second term though.

Nevertheless, Trump is good at reading the mood of some segments of the population. So maybe a slot on Fox News awaits? Unfortunately, Arnie now has The Apprentice gig so he can't resume his duties there.
