Unsure. Either way they'll have the option to stagger the payment giving it fairly little consequence anyway. The investigation period in question ended in 2016. Since then City's revenue has undoubtedly grown so they don't really have an issue of meeting FFP legislation anymore. The loss of revenue from missing out on two seasons of Champions League money is worse than the fine.

Not sure the ban will be upheld either. The appeal will already postpone the ban at least a season. Following that being upheld they'll head to the Swiss supreme Court which in turn postpones it until resolved.

Did not some other big European clubs overturn their bans on appeal?.

Not sure about that Nomad.

PSG and Milan. PSG avoided the ban and Milan negotiated a one year ban which already sets the basis for City at the CAS. It seems at the very most they'll only serve a year ban. City have the money to take it even further though. Uefa struck a deal with Milan to avoid this.

They broke the rules, they should take the consequences. Farsley Celtic should take their Champions League place imho ;)

It's gone long past being as straight forward as Rules & Consequences, now it's more a case of having the influence and financial clout to get away with stuff.

The tail has been wagging the dog for years now ;)

Notice its generally the English clubs who bought themselves into the top table rather then those who have always been there.;)

Atm there is only City and Chelski from England although Wolves and Sheffield United’s owners are throwing the cash at their teams. PSG have been doing it for years as well. In all honesty is FFP any worse than the massive financial assistance given to Madrid and Barca via dodgy government stitch ups that have gone on for decades?

Of course UEFA as usual will turn the other way with regards to Madrid and Barca as they don't want to rock the boat there it seems.

We were never going to get given that Den.

Completely kicked of the park by the new Stoke.

Vile club of cloggers destroyed any chance of a decent game

Why as they were giving penalty decisions for far less then that earlier this season.

Only two shots on target suggests Saints have only themselves to blame.;)

The parameters used for shots on target are much exaggerated nowadays.:p:
