Then it's been ordered incorrectly. My understanding is that anyone going to 200Mbps should have new kit if they don't have at least the SH2.

This is irrespective of whether the SH1 is technically capable of doing 200Mbps.

Unfortunately we are not allowed to replace a sh1 with a sh2 on a service call it has to be like for like so I guess thats why this situation is happening.

IMO the superhub 1 cannot achieve 70meg on wifi so it shouldnt be used at all

For fault swaps without a retier I'd agree. However any retier order should include the appropriate kit replacement. If that isn't happening then the order on the system is wrong.

Hmm. I'll flag this back to colleagues on Monday then. 200Mbps on a SH1 should not happen.

I haven't been able to check my account (broken error screen) but somehow my bill is twice my usual. Lose, lose.

Well I've just got off the phone to retentions, pretty happy! Went from £66 a month for 152/TV XL + second box/Unlimited phone down to £42 a month for 200Meg/TV XL/Standard phone and a £36 credit, though I opted for line rental saver as well.

Still saving quite a bit through the year, got my 200meg early (came through nearly instantly) and nothing of value was lost.

Don't bother with customer services, go to the "Thinking of leaving us" options to go to retentions. Retentions get the best deals and can apply the biggest credits.

I didn't ******** about leaving, I just up front said I want to reduce my bill, here's what I don't care about (Phone, TV) and then after I got a decent (what I consider decent) deal, suggested the line rental saver.

I actually don't think the guy I spoke to was English, but he spoke good English so there was that. He actually made a mistake when he quoted me the original offer, there was a £3 a month difference hence the credit.

You've been saying that for a wee while now. Find 10 mins and get it done :)

Nobody can be that busy. It's not even like the VM landline is required to get in touch with VM. The 0800 number given will do.
