Same here they don't rush do they.

They are sent in batches, so Customer Care/Relations can manage the enquiries

The thing is mine has crept up £4 since I last rang retentions anyway. This will make it £8.85 up since last year. Hacks me off.

I wonder if the move away from detailed bills is a smokescreen?

This is one positive of being with Sky, at least it is clear how much they are squeezing you by the short and curlies for! :D

Nope. The bills were changed because people were complaining about 'being charged £37 for BB XL' when they weren't

So because the bills now don't breakdown the costs by service, I would expect that the thinking was the price change letters wouldn't need to either - otherwise it would turn into the 'well my letter say BB is going up by X, but it doesn't say that on my bill' type calls

Does anyone have a breakdown on what the increases are

Just had a letter this morning
I'm on exactly the same package as you, but the increase is £4.45, making a new total of £ 107.96.

Like most of Virgin I haven't got a clue what the increase is for.

Me: But the increase is only £3.70
Agent: Then there will be an adjustment to your account

So pressed the "I'm thinking of leaving you button" just to get someone English and got a very pleasant young man who told me that my TV (XL) will increase by £2 and Broadband (M) by £1.50 and Caller display by £0.20 but wait a minute says he, I'll just check your area for caller display, YES it's free saving you £2.05 and the £0.20 increase so your increase will only be £1.45 so only 2.96% as opposed to 7.56%

Glad I phoned!

FREE caller display - anybody heard of this - I'm still paying !!

Thanks BM - perhaps a call to retentions - perhaps a move to the dark side can be prevented ??
