Re: Ban the burkha ?
My apologies - I misinterpreted your post to mean that because she was a woman, she would not be allowed in those buildings in Tunisia and Turkey.
<my bad> |
Re: Ban the burkha ?
Can someone confirm what the husband is saying that ' our religion ' is strict on this, that women MUST cover there face.

Re: Ban the burkha ?
It's actually a cultural interpretation of the principle of modesty - nowhere in the Koran does it actually state that a veil must be worn.

Re: Ban the burkha ?
ban it of course, if i walked into a bank covering my face (with a balaclava) i would expect to be shot dead by armed police within 5 minutes.

Re: Ban the burkha ?
I'd suggest changing banks in that case. They sound like a right nasty lot.

By the way, here's an appeal to all BNP supporters/anti-Muslimists/racists/send-'em-back-to-where-they-came-from types, please can you learn punctuation and where necessary, spelling too. Anyway back to the point in hand - wearing a balaclava at an airport will get you shot? Is that what you're saying? |
