No. He just copy/pasted from the first post in this thread. Go and look, it's right there.

So a pointless quote then. Jeesh.

Not really, johnathome couldn't find the relevant section so Dukefever reposted it. To be fair, he should have put it in quote tags.

According to a post on DS FX SD channel is going widescreen as of Wednesday (baring any last minute technical problems).

wish MTV would go widescreen already! Wish MTV shows like nitro circus would be shown on MTVNHD, mtv have alot of reality shows but MTVNHD has hardly anything on it, its a big dissapointment!

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)

To be honest while it would be nice for MTV to go widescreen I would preffer to keep the reality stuff og MTV HD as it is a pretty decent music channel with a bit more varity then the other stations.

Yeah, I like MTVN HD... reminds me a little of MTV Europe years ago :)

Duke

Suddenly my hard drives limitations were put into perspective. My partner is away in the week alot and we have to catch up at weekends (oooeeerrr). This weekend has felt like a marathon to empty my hard drive.

I've just realised how some may interpret the above paragraph........never mind.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)

That piece of news is quite old and nothing has changed since most of it was posted last year.

All we know is that Eurosport HD is coming.

I suspect there is a strong chance that we will get History HD, Bio HD, Crime & Investigation and the HD Disney channel as Virgin have recently signed new deals with them. That is just pure speculation on my part though.

The answer is no, but it's not the BBC's fault:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/7755219.stm

If you scroll down the page under the race schedule and read the paragraph about the red button it says:

Quote:

We will not be able to provide F1 coverage in high definition this year. The BBC relies on Formula 1 Management (FOM) for the provision of all of its live pictures and as such the broadcasting of high definition pictures is dependent upon whether FOM uses HD cameras or not.
Basically the same issue as last year.

MTVHD is great, it's the best thing MTV has done in years and it's just like MTV europe was. Last thing it needs is crappy reality tv shows on it :dozey:
