Thought I would do some DIY yesterday and Emultion the kitchen, when almost finished I fell off the ladder and skint my elbow and one of my fingers all black and blue also a bit painful in my back, it could have been worse, Too old for this have to stop,

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis Stephen as its highly likely steroids will be something that will be part of your treatment from time to time along with other possible medications.

Sorry to hear this. But at least you now have a diagnosis so they can hopefully find the right treatment for you. It didn't surprise me it took this long either unfortunately to get to this point.

This time tomorrow night, I will know the outcome of my disciplinary hearing. I am fully expecting the worst case scenario, that is being sacked, but people seem to think that I might be given a stern talking to. I don't know what to think. But fully expecting to be getting drunk tomorrow night to drown my sorrows.

A friend of mine who actually owns that [Mod Edit - Link removed] Car Clean something - he got it. And we spend lots and lots of time together. Firstly there is going to be some steroid involved with weight fluctuations happening...

Then by chance he got told about this Chinese doctor called Doctor Ming. She's based somewhere near north London - I can get the info if you'd like.

Anyway, she started putting him on a course of Chinese medicines to help with his stomach and digestion issues.

I'm not even exaggerating - he's doing so so much better......Chinese medicine may not be your thing and even if that's not the case - I've got to still admit that things like steroids don't always have the best side effects.

Happy to send Dr Ming details through if you think it's gonna help??

Utility companies - digging holes everywhere then leaving them for weeks. Particularly irritating when they're at the bottom of your drive !
