Just to add, this is what my Dads connection was like before on Telf10:

Be interesting to see what the the connection is like on the new CMTS at peak times. Graph in the previous post (#5580) is live.

Also, I got it wrong. I'm on Telf11 not 10.

We might actually see a fix for the wider SH3 latency issue soon, which surprises me, I was expecting to have to wait for a SH4!

I wouldn't expect to see it before Q3 this year, maybe even Q4.

Each evening my 200MB broadband slows to a crawl. Under 10MB this evening yet again but VM's networks say the utilisation has not breached thresholds and will stay like this until something gets worse.
SH2 in modem mode via ethernet.

It wasn't just you with the hump and red spikes last evening, maybe the VM issues are coming back... again!

Cardiff too, was it nationwide?

https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/local/2017/03/6.png

And I'm still getting a very flaky connection in the mornings when I power up. VM sent me a letter 1st March apologising that the fault is still ongoing. And they will "contact me in a few days".... they haven't of course.

Interesting, looks like it was national yes, I'm at work so didn't notice if it actually dropped or not but if it did drop nationally then that's quite bad...

Of course no word from virgin about what's going on.
