Base on info we have seen on the ofcom web site it look like Viceland are broadcasting on Sky with no licence.

Also 8 Sky Sports HD Channels - bar Sky Sports Mix HD and Sky Sports News HD - was removed from the Virgin Media UK EPG last night on both V HD and V+ HD Boxes.

They are only on TiVo or V6 boxes now.

EPG Now goes like this on V HD or V+ HD boxes:

445. Talking Pictures TV
509. Sky Sports News HD

Any news on anymore apps coming mediaboy? It seems so simple to add apps for various things like amazon or wwe ...yet we've had none in years

There’s no way Sky will be able to push FTA channels unilaterally onto their IPTV service for the same reason Virgin can’t at present.

I already have Amazon but to be honest I watch Netflix way more.

I agree with you, I've tried Amazon but wasn't impressed, Netflix is better imo.

I watch them both mate on a smart TV, very good value for money.:D
My daughter was one of the first people to sign up for Amazon Prime, so she got it for free.
My wife enjoys more on Amazon lol.

I agree that Netflix is better, but there's quite a lot on Amazon Prime nonetheless. My watchlist includes Madam President, Startup, Hand of God, Animal Kingdom and Goliath, but there's loads more on the list which I will struggle to get through! Just finished The Man in the High Castle and in the middle of Sneaky Pete and The 100 currently.

The Evening Standard: Ofcom to consider Russian news channel RT's licence.

Media watchdog Ofcom is set to review Russian news network RT's British broadcasting licence following developments in the Salisbury poisoning investigation.

Russia Today is broadcasting on Virgin Media Ireland at time of posting.

A spokesman for RT said: "It’s regrettable that some see baseless attacks on RT as a way to score easy PR points, but those attacks betray not just the highest principles of the British society...but the British public at large."
