Why is this Virgin Media's fault? You were a VIP customer who wanted to reduce your price. The only way to do this is to break your VIP bundle.

Have just phoned virgin enquiring about the VIP50 package as i am looking to leave sky and join VM (had 20mb internet with VM couple years ago) and they told me that Premium HD is not included with the VIP50 package, is this correct? Is it only included for existing customers? Cheers.

Who says they can not provide 20mb.

If VM are adversiting which they are Epsom have full access to all VM products.

If you signed a contract which said VM would offer 20mb and 2-3 months latter confirmed they can only offer 10mb then your contract is void.

I suggest you contact 151 for Tech help, otherwise there is nothing stopping you upgrading to VIP50.

I'm unaware of any problems with 20 or 50meg in Epsom. Has any ticket number been given regarding any problem?

THEY say they cannot provide 20MB...........do you think they would send me a new Modem, Dig up the cable and renew it and send umpteen engineers round, and agree to a reduced payment if they didnt need to?

and as I said your contract is void - but no doubt by excepting a reduction is service/discount of some sort would mean you acknowledged this.

Did VM say it was just affecting you? If they've done re-pulls etc, it sounds like it.

As I said earlier, I'm not aware of a problem in Epsom as a whole.

Hi
Thanks for your recent enquiry about our new HD channels and how they will affect your VIP package.

Just so you know the changes will be shown on your bill as a £7.00 charge for the HD channels, there will also be a £7.00 discount showing under refunds and adjustments.
Kind regards
Diane"

Got the same email. Also got the bill in today (Aug 20 - Sept 19) and no discount applied
