I must admit to being surprised about the TiVo monthly pricing change.

VM must think it is merited seeing as the EPG info is so accurate all the time

They must be selling well if they can afford to add this extra charge.

Mr. Berkett says. He declined to give specific figures ahead of the company's third-quarter results on Oct. 27.

"It's doing very well," he says. "The response has been better than good; I'm very, very pleased. The level of advocacy for the product is something that I haven't experienced before, virtually in any role I've ever had.

I phoned and asked on FaceBook and was told I would have to pay both fees, but ordered another today and got it for one fee?

Hi HDFootyMan,

Any chance you could let me know where you got the above quote from, i've been trying to get this confirmed one way or the other with no luck (plenty of speculation, but no actaul confirmation from anyone running the updated software that it's enabled, or from VM that it will definitly be in the coming update) - however your quote looks like it's from an official source as they also quote cost.

Cheers

When the bbc red button comes to Tivo by the next update. Will you have to be on a bbc channel to check BBC Sport, BBC News etc ? because the other boxes you could from the home page press 4-4-1 and it took you to bbc sport.

I currently have the V+ box and can set it to archive several hours worth of TV during the night. This could still be done, I understand, on the TiVo if I didn't want to watch another channel at the same time. However, is there a feature on the TiVo that allows you to make it play a selection of your recordings successively (like a playlist) without manual intervention?

Yes, you can play all in a group in a series, but not individual programmes from different series/groups AFAIK.

I am sure that you have been told this before but.... on TiVo all the red button will do is take you to the app. You will probably be able to go direct to the BBC app from the apps menu also.

The BBC red button stuff will not be included in the update, it will be added outwith the update. TiVo apps and features can be added without needing an update.

Red button on ITV actually brings up an overlay menu with one item in it, a link the the ITV Player section of On Demand.

Red button on ITV is working in Ipswich, just as described by others. Link to ITV player only at this stage.

Curious. Does a reboot fix it?
