I for one would never watch Fox News like I refuse to watch Sky News.

Then you have the choice of BBC, CNN, Euronews and the new Indian news channel.

I for one think Sky News is excellent and balanced , a point proven when Mr Murdoch came under fire on the channel. I'm afraid some on here just slate anything linked with Sky.

Agreed, it is the BBC News I don't like these days with all "their" analysis and opinions. Feels like big brother dictating to the audience at times. Not saying Sky is "neutral" but finding them more balanced than the BBC these days myself.

Time to get back on topic again for this thread?

Probably due to the fact that most of the news reported concerns affairs across the pond ;) If you had ever been to the US you would know the majority of the US news channels tend to show very little news stories from anywhere else in the world.

Agreed , I personally enjoy some of their shows such as press preview , Jeff Randall Live etc. I suppose its personal preference very similar to what paper you read , to get back on topic I feel VM offer a good selection of news channels , Al Jazeera would be a nice addition.

I wouldn't line the rabbits hutch with The Sun and no I don't read The Times although on the odd occasions I've received it , its an ok read. Good news for VM regarding the BBC on TIVO.
