Some reports are saying that beIN Sport are prepared to put a lot of money into this, so my bets would be on Sky Sports, BT and beIN Sport. I don't think Discovery will get a look in.

That's just my take on it.

I did see rumours (Last year I think) that beIN Sport was looking to buy Premier Sports - so this may now happen if beIN Sport win any rights.

My friend in Doha reckons beIN have won 3 packages and are currently setting up a British version of their website.

Ofcom had nothing to do with it, it was the European Commission who imposed that condition. Law of unintended consequences comes to mind!

5pm press conference just after the LSE closes media can arrive from 16:30

Keep an eye on SSN from 16:30 if they have the feed they'll have done well if they don't have the feed then who knows whats happened....

With somebody like BeIN Sport you'd get equal access across all platforms however it makes it a mess if you watch quite a few sports.

A mess is what many people don't want MM and l personally think it will generally stay as it is with the packages.
