I don't think any team will beat Bayern in the Champions league this season, they're a better all round team than Barca imo.

Yes, not as much as i have watched Bayern though. If they meet i would definitely put money on Bayern. Of course only time will tell :)

Bayern were open today, decent outfit but open. if they were to perform like that against Barca then Messi would tear them a new one let alone midfield running round them for fun.

Wenger apparently getting angry over the same newspaper article. The press should just drop it, you made something up, you got caught out on it. Simple. The arrogance of these people that they think they can publish nonsense day in an day out and then get outraged when called on it.

I don't think he needs to silence false stories with a win, he needs to silence criticism with a win. The latter is fine, the former is just nonsense.

youve misunderstood what i meant. the best way to silence anything is a win. bottom line is Wenger dug out the wrong person. then had a go at another. i know hes vexed and all but these journos have been asking questions for a while like us fans. i dont agree with the onslaught clearly coming but they sense blood and its going to be jumped on. no ones bothered about our board anymore, incompetent bunch hardly have anything to show for. anyone can cash strap. its Wenger whos managed to grab top 4 during the decline. i want Dein back. for Dein to comeback PHW, Stan and Ivan would have to go. this is getting messy. Usmanov is waiting. Im coming round to him taking over. The Deins are part of his 'crew'. David wont allow this club to be destroyed.

UEFA stats: Arsenal 55% possession. Completed 528 passes to Bayern's 363. Sagna (89%) & Mertesacker (86%) higher than any Bayern player.

and like i mentioned total yr wage bill same. 1 difference though.. Bayerns XI cost £12m more.. thats all.

He also brought in a lot of the good ones he has had to sell. The question is how much of a decision does he have when it comes to that? I don't believe he is supported by the board. Best example is how Arsenal didn't want to sign Mata until Fabregas was sold.....

Yes indeed he may not have board support and if that's the case l would have been off long before now as managers like Ferguson would have never tolerated such interference from the board.

As an outsider looking in (I'm in Scotland) it looks to me that Wenger is protecting the board. Seems every season he talks about money being there but the team downsizes, Fabregas to Arteta, RVP to Giroud. Year after year lesser players are coming in whereas Utd, City and to a degree still Chelsea are bringing in or holding onto their biggest players. Wilshere seems to have the guts for a battle but not many others in the Arsenal side.

If Wenger goes, who would Arsenal fans like to see brought in and do they think they'd be backed with the money to hold onto your better players or buy higher quality?

Not if he is loyal to the club. He has turned down much higher money from Madrid and especially PSG in the last 6 years.
