Re: TiVo

Around the end of March can realistically be a few days before or a few days after the actual last day of the month.

VM never actually stated that you would get an email on the last day of March.

More than likely the emails will be sent in batches over a period of time possibly a few days to a week. As there will be a lot to send out.

Plenty of hope. VM have a lot more influence and money than a few Premiere users.

Am I missing something here I thought the first few days of April would be classed as early April. The end of March in April mmmmmmm

Another VM favourite word AROUND.

DF did say they were going out today though, so we'll see.

They said around.

The more I read postings regarding TiVo bugs the more I realise just how good the SA V+ is. It was way ahead of it's time.:gpoint::gpoint:

The only attraction the TiVo has for me is the larger hard drive.

Thanks for registering to be in the running to get one of 1000 TiVo boxes, to enjoy on us for a year.

As much as we’d have loved you to win one, sadly you weren’t successful in securing a free TiVo box in our prize draw.

If you’d like to upgrade to our supercharged TV service, just sit tight. We're launching in April so we’ll be in touch in the COMING WEEKS with an exclusive offer.
no mention of the end of march here.

.

Fair point.

Let's define 'around' then. How many days into April would you give VM to send out the first email of these batches, for it to be considered 'around the end of March'?

I may be wrong here, but that was a reply to both pre-regs and non pre reg current customers (both were entered into the draw). So it had to be more general with the date. Pre regs get tivo first.

Because there was a miniscule chance they would make the end of March, which PR wise sounded way better?
