Thomas Vermaelen's move from Arsenal to Manchester United in doubt

Arsene Wenger wants any United deal for Vermaelen to include players heading from Old Trafford to Arsenal, and is also on the hunt for a goalkeeper

Smalling? Better not be bloody Nani.

I would like Vermaelen to stay but I guess he wants to play more football. He has been professional all season despite being moved out of the side as well. So I don't think we need to be firm and hold him to his contract and I don't think Wenger will so if he goes to United then fair enough (although hopefully he'll go elsewhere!).

do you know if Man Utd have taken back licensing so they can sell own merchandise?

He's an attacking mid so I'd rather have Nolan and Morrison

Hansen pretty much apologies for his comments about Theo...

Quote:

Four years ago, I said that Theo Walcott did not have a "football brain", without realising that my comments would be misinterpreted to such an extent.

The meaning of my observation was not as brutal as it may have come across, but nonetheless, I was critical of Walcott’s ability and I am pleased to say that Theo has proved me wrong one million per cent.

He is a proper player and I have to admit that my comments about him were the only time that I have ever been happy to be wrong.

Theo is an intelligent boy, very bright, with genuine ability and he has given the best possible response to my remarks by pretty much showing two fingers to what I said.

I have met him since I said it and there has never been a problem between the pair of us. I am delighted with how he has developed as a player.

England may have performed better at this World Cup in Brazil had Theo Walcott been fit and able to play a part, with his cruciate ligament injury ultimately costing him his place.

Jack Wilshere has been caught smoking for the second time in nine months.

Just hours before Germany lifted the World Cup, pictures emerged of England flops Wilshere and Joe Hart behaving outrageously at a pool party in Las Vegas.

Naughty. Maybe this is one of the reasons he isn't reaching his potential and then cries when people like Paul Scholes criticise him...

there are also pictures of Hart passing on a mouthful of drink into Wilshere’s mouth
Theres a word for that isn't there? :erm:
