What did I say! Second to last or last to get an update EVERYTIME. Haha I'm not that bitter but literally this happens for each update. Virgin hate my headend...

Anyone else's Netflix not running at Super HD straight away? Mine seems to stick with 480SD until it manages to buffer Super HD

That's how Netflix is designed to work.

It's designed that way so that you get the picture straight away; it should gradually ramp up to the highest bitrate for the title.

It's caled 'variable bit rate streaming' (or something like that).

Yes, everyone with TiVo gets the Netflix app on it

It's always run at Super HD straight away on my LG TV, that's why I was asking, this seems to take a good minute or so to build up. It's pretty useless for shows like Breaking Bad where even the first few frames are meant to be visually stunning!
