My issue has been completely resolved by changing the USB cable to the Kindle one, might be an idea to try?

Sometimes something as simple as blowing out the dust/cleaning the connection on the charger cable and s3 socket can make a difference to charge speed. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes!

Hopefully they've acknowledged that there is a problem rather than blaming the providers, which also have to take some of the blame as well as they should have tested it fully. Hopefully a fix won't be too long.

Depends how much involvement the providers have had in the process

Interesting, one of my friends updated to 4.3 and hasn't had any problems at all (despite me expecting them). That said he did factory reset the device several times in the process which might have helped.

I don't get the option to download this update on my S3 now luckily.

It's only a rumour but they are saying there could be a fix within 15 days.

http://www.androidsas.com/2013/11/sa...get-fixed.html

Here's hoping. But I'm not holding my breath at the moment but I'd love to be proven wrong.

Had the option to upgrade OTA and via Kies but held off due to the problems and not been offered the updates again through either.

15 days is still too long considering how long this update has taken to get here already!

Looking forward to some extra lock screen functionality.
