There are plans to launch a Comedy Central HD channel. As nothing has yet been signed we cannot confirm this just yet but we hope to have an HD output of our shows within the next few months.

Well seeing as Sky own 25% of CC I am sure it will be there first, nice to know that they are working on a HD channel hopefully that will mean that their SD channel will go widescreen.

Odd. I think the Sky service carries them on 313, 314, (Premiere and Premiere +1) 332 – 339 so maybe VM will run them similarly, albeit in the 400s.

Hmm... +1 repeats of tabloid junk TV or a rabid right wing 'news' channel... Tough choice so I think I'll just watch some BBC HD instead.

Been wondering when you can start enjoying Sky Sports and Sky Movies in HD, on Virgin TV?
Just keep an eye on your emails and we'll be in touch as soon as they're available! Plus all the details of how you can get your hands on them too. There's no need to call now though, you'll be the first to hear the news from us.
In the meantime, make sure you're ready to go by getting all the right kit. You'll just need an HD Ready TV and one of our nifty set top boxes (choose a V HD or V+ HD Box). Im sure everyone who 'registered' got the email, so not sure we need countless folks saying they also got it. Nothing of real substance at all...just a general info 'mailshot' that everything is still ongoing really.

What is the bet we know the out come before we get the next email? Hopefully it won't be long now, I have just been browsing the SD movie channel listing and there are quite a few films that i wouldn't mind watching but the quality of some of the movie channels is appalling.
