Personally I get calls by the JW's, Mormons and members of my local Presbyterian Church.... Usually on a saturday morning, when I'm usually

a) About to climb into the shower

or

b) About to sit down for a read and write....

Very annoying.... ;)

A very interesting read. I'm starting to suspect the DC who led the investigation is a little too in love with her own legend.

Unless, of course, the case she is known to have persuaded the CPS to prosecute, even though it initially didn't want to, was this one ...

The Muslim convert at the centre of the case against Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang said yesterday she never expected it to end up in court.

Speaking for the first time since the case was dismissed, British-born grandmother Ericka Tazi said: ‘I was frightened and shaken when I was confronted by the hotel owners. They were wrong and deserved to be told off or cautioned.’ She said she had contacted police after talking to a friend about the row over religion.

‘The next thing I knew, DC Tracy O’Hara was on my doorstep,’ she said from her home in Warrington, Cheshire. ‘I was surprised when she told me there was enough evidence to bring a prosecution. I didn’t want that but I felt unable to stop it.’



this should never have got to court its a total farce.

exactly but those accused are now ruined. The Muslim woman and whoever it was advised her to run to the police are to blame

Also she has not changed the accussation even though there were witnesses that did not back up her side of the story

Ah no, you're not backing me in to a corner ;)

Whatever the couple decide to do it's up to them. How that relates to their faith is also up to them - it's a private matter and I have no opinion on their decision one way or another.
