No say for example i wanna copy a recording to dvd in v plus i can record it in the background while watching tv, but i hear with tivo if i wanna copya programme to dvd i cant use the copy to vcr option in v plus, instead if i copy to dvd using tivo i cant watch a recording or live programme, i need ot watch what i copy, is that correct

It does not have that function but you will find out that you will not need it ( if you do you need to get out more ):p:

Iss that standard with all tivo or something virgin can fix with software patch and can you tell it only one show to copy or to copy a group of shows live

The TiVo Premiere in the States has the option to transfer recordings to a computer (as long as they're not tagged as protected) where the can be burned to DVD/Blu-ray. No idea whether VM plan to add this functionality to their TiVo though.

still a few little bugs,Biggest pain is the suggested recorded programs seems to record the sd version (really annoying)

I was pleased to read that the full BBC iPlayer app is now available via TiVo with the entire range of programmes that are available on the web version. It was always annoying to see something available online only to find that is was unavailable on the VM version of iPlayer. So, better late than never and well done Virgin. Does anyone know if there are plans for a full 4OD app along the same lines?
