anyway Vertonghen to Tottenham isnt as done as its said to be. Wage issue as it would be.

It's all rather absurd. I am not believing anything about Vertonghen until he has signed with someone. No one reputable has weighed in yet.

Not sure what Tottenham are doing but VDV has a serious chip on his shoulder. might be because Wenger went against signing him even though RvP told him to.

well 1 things for sure him and his agent have started figures sky high. he'll only get those numbers at City, Real. I doubt even Barca would hand him what he wants. Then he wants first team footy. Me thinks he needs to take a step back. I still feel we're still in with a chance.

They need better centre backs and more depth in that position. He is a promising young player whose transfer fee isn't especially large. He is actually a good fit for Tottenham.

Wages will be an issue and always is with Spurs but he'll have a better chance of playing every game at Spurs than Arsenal. Maybe as a LB at Arsenal.

I'll be happy if we sign him but not disappointed if we don't.

I doubt he will sign for anyone that still isn't sure of CL football. Maybe he'll go to Spurs if they qualify.

The Cable Forum fantasy football league is as tight as the Premiership. Now I know what Fergie and Mancini must be going through, lol.....

Arsenal not close to signing M'Vila. Many complicating factors (CL place, fee, off-field issues etc). No way a done deal

If its a wage issue with Tottenham then l suspect that would not bode well for Arsenal as their wage structure is just the same.

But they still have a strict wage structure which has stopped them many times in the past from signing certain players.

M'Vila? Maybe. Doesn't mean Arsenal certainly want him, that a deal has been agreed, or that this isn't a case of M'Vila and his agents forcing another club's hand.

the wage structure is bigger too den. the one thing thats stopped Arsenal signing players is the crap at the club needing to be shifted

no but the fact he wants to join makes me ignore the media saying its not close blah blah.. for all we know it could be because of CLs not yet confirmed for next season.

what i will say is up your Inter! they jacked Ricky Alvarez last year now we'll seal M'Vila. :2up:
